This is an opportunity for young people from Jeollanam-Gyeongnam provinces, South Korea and Dong Nai province to meet, exchange and learn about customs and culture, while contributing to fostering the increasingly sustainable development of the Vietnam-Korea friendship.

Explore the history and culture of Dong Nai
Each group only stayed in Dong Nai for 4 days but had very impressive experiences.
Ms. Yoon Si Won, a student at Jeonnam University, Jeollanam Province, said: During her days in Dong Nai, she experienced wearing traditional Vietnamese ao dai, visited Tran Bien Temple of Literature historical site; visited and experienced pottery making; went to Son Tien tourist area; interacted with Dong Nai youth... Among them, the most impressive activity for her was the experience of wearing traditional ao dai.
According to Yoon Si Won, before coming to Dong Nai, she had learned about the traditional Vietnamese ao dai, but when she came here and wore the traditional Vietnamese ao dai, she had a very different feeling. The traditional Vietnamese ao dai is soft, graceful, and discreet, but still accentuates the graceful curves of women.
“I shared photos of the ao dai and my feelings about the traditional Vietnamese ao dai on my personal page so that my relatives and friends can have more understanding about the traditional Vietnamese ao dai,” said Yoon Si Won.
Besides the traditional ao dai, during the visit and exchange in Dong Nai, Yoon Jeong Hyeon (15 years old), a student of Jinju High School, Gyeongnam Province and members of the delegation visited Dong Nai Museum - a place to preserve and promote cultural heritage values.
Yoon Jeong Hyeon said: Visiting Dong Nai Museum and listening to the museum staff's explanations helped me have an overview of Dong Nai through historical periods, Dong Nai's nature, ethnic groups living in the province, Vietnamese culture, and handicrafts in Dong Nai...
Yoon Jeong Hyeon said: Dong Nai Museum should be the priority choice of tourists, especially foreign tourists, when coming to Dong Nai and wanting to learn about Dong Nai.
In addition to the introductions, when experiencing some stages of making ceramic products such as shaping, drawing, carving patterns, glazing, etc., each young Korean person feels more clearly the value of Bien Hoa ceramic products.
Ha Seon Bhin (17 years old), Chungnyeol Girls' High School, Gyeongnam Province, expressed: This is the first time I have held clay to create a ceramic product. At first, when I saw the artisans creating the product, I found it very easy, but when I did it myself, I realized it was not easy at all. And to create a complete, valuable ceramic product, it takes a lot of time and goes through many different stages. Perhaps this is the factor that makes Bien Hoa ceramics unique.
Opportunity to exchange and connect
Besides the opportunity to learn and explore the land and people of Dong Nai, the exchange program is also an opportunity for young people from Jeollanam and Gyeongnam provinces and young people from Dong Nai province to exchange and connect.
Among them, Doan Thanh, a youth from Jeollanam province, visited and exchanged with students majoring in Korean Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Lac Hong University. The exchange activity was highly appreciated by the youth from Jeollanam province and students majoring in Korean Studies. The youth from Jeollanam province and students majoring in Korean Studies were divided into small groups to present and introduce the characteristics, history, customs, habits, and culture of their locality.

Representatives of Jeollanam, Gyeongnam and Dong Nai provinces all hope that through exchange activities between youth, it will be a practical bridge to further promote friendly cooperation between localities in the coming time. |
Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Trang, a third-year student majoring in Korean Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies at Lac Hong University, said: During her three years studying Korean Studies, she had many opportunities to interact with expert groups or volunteer groups from Korea. At the same time, she also learned about Korea herself, but was only interested in learning about some famous cities, and she had not had the opportunity to learn much about provinces like Jeollanam. Therefore, through the presentations and introductions by the young people of Jeollanam province about the land and people here, she found it very interesting and had a new perspective on Korea.
In order to create more opportunities for exchange, connection, and further strengthen the friendship between the youth of the two provinces of Jeollanam, Gyeongnam and Dong Nai, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union have designed a team building program at Son Tien Tourist Area (Long Hung Ward) with many exciting games such as: 2 people with 3 legs, you toss me, catch, blindfolded pig beating, fishing, folk dancing...
Accordingly, the youth of the two provinces were organized into teams to compete with each other. The special thing is that even though they were meeting for the first time, when they became a team, the youth of the two provinces competed very well. Not stopping at the games, the youth of Jeollanam province also participated in a campfire, holding hands and singing the melodies of friendship. In particular, the program also included the activity of writing their wishes and desires and hanging them on the connecting tree with the meaning of sending hope for a future of solidarity, cooperation and development between the two countries.
