Landslides everywhere in mountainous communes of Da Nang

From early morning of October 27 to morning of October 29, in communes and wards in Da Nang city, there was moderate rain, heavy rain, very heavy rain and thunderstorms. Total rainfall in wards and communes in the plains was generally 150-300mm, in some places over 400mm; in communes and wards in the southwest mountainous area, it was generally 200-350mm, in some places over 500mm; in communes and wards in the northwest mountainous area, it was 100-250mm, in some places over 300mm.

Specifically, the water level at A Vuong lake is more than 1,305 m3/second, this hydropower plant discharges flood water through the spillway at more than 885 m3/second (at 8:00 a.m., discharge is 195 m3/second).

Water flowing into Dak Mi 4 lake is more than 2,089 m3/s, this hydropower plant discharges flood water at more than 1,724 m3/s (at 8:00 a.m., discharges 947 m3/s); water flowing into Song Tranh 2 lake is more than 1,840 m3/s, discharges flood water at more than 1,528 m3/s (at 8:00 a.m., discharges 1,088 m3/s)...
