On the morning of October 27, the water level continued to rise rapidly. In Thuong Duc commune alone, more than 2,000 houses were cut off. In Hoi An ward, water also flooded many streets in the old town.

Data updated at 11am on October 27 shows that the water flow to large hydroelectric reservoirs such as A Vuong, Song Bung 4, Dak Mi 4, and Song Tranh 2 has increased sharply compared to a few hours ago.

Specifically, the water level at A Vuong lake is more than 1,305 m3/second, this hydropower plant discharges flood water through the spillway at more than 885 m3/second (at 8:00 a.m., discharge is 195 m3/second).

Water flowing into Dak Mi 4 lake is more than 2,089 m3/s, this hydropower plant discharges flood water at more than 1,724 m3/s (at 8:00 a.m., discharges 947 m3/s); water flowing into Song Tranh 2 lake is more than 1,840 m3/s, discharges flood water at more than 1,528 m3/s (at 8:00 a.m., discharges 1,088 m3/s)...
