With the spirit of "Wholeheartedly serving the people", officers and soldiers of the Da Nang City Armed Forces urgently organized the loading and transport of relief goods onto specialized vehicles, overcoming complex terrain, ensuring that necessities are delivered to people in the shortest time.
On the morning of October 31, under the direction of the Forward Command of Military Region 5 and Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Kim Tuan, Deputy Commander of the Da Nang City Military Command, officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Region 3 - Tra My, Engineering Brigade 270 (Military Region 5) and militia forces of communes transported food and provisions to supply people isolated by floods and landslides.

Accordingly, the forces transported 460 gifts (including banh chung, bread, drinks, instant noodles, dry food, clothes, medicine) to give to people in Song Y, Ngoc Giap, Ngoc Tu villages (Tra Tan commune), 6, 7, 9 (Tra Doc). At the same time, gifts including 500kg of dry food from Military Region 5 and 4 tons of rice from the Da Nang City Military Command were given to the people.
Previously, on the afternoon of October 30, Colonel Tran Huu Ich, Commander of the Da Nang City Military Command, directly visited and encouraged the medical staff, doctors, patients and their families at Duy Xuyen General Hospital (Nam Phuoc Commune); and also went to Xuan Phu Commune (Da Nang City) to visit, give gifts and support food and necessities to people in flooded areas.
Accordingly, the Da Nang City Military Command donated nearly 300 boxes of dry food, more than 200 boxes of drinking water, more than 100 boxes of milk and many other essential necessities, promptly helping nearly 500 patients, relatives and staff, doctors and nurses of Duy Xuyen General Hospital, as well as people in deeply flooded areas in Xuan Phu commune to overcome immediate difficulties.
