The project "Investment in construction of the Z125 Factory 2" was approved by the Ministry of National Defense with a total investment of 250 billion VND, to be implemented in the period 2024-2026. The goal of the project is to help the Z125 Factory achieve sufficient capacity in terms of premises, machinery and technology to produce defense products according to the plan; aiming to master the technology of producing high-tech weapons, tanks, armored vehicles...

According to the Z125 Factory Report, the groundbreaking of the second facility is a concrete step in implementing Resolution No. 08-NQ/TW of the Politburo , affirming Vietnam's determination to build a modern, self-reliant defense industry to meet the requirements of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Ho Quang Tuan highly appreciated the efforts of Factory Z125 and the agencies in implementing procedures and site clearance work. At the same time, he emphasized that the investment project to build the second facility of Factory Z125 is an extremely urgent project, aiming to expand the scale, improve capacity, stabilize production, and contribute to promoting the development of the defense industry in the spirit of Resolution No. 08-NQ/TW of the Politburo .

Promote roles and responsibilities, promptly report contents beyond their authority. Contractors and equipment suppliers must concentrate human resources, machinery and equipment to carry out the contents according to commitments, ensuring quality and progress. The competent agencies of the General Department of Defense Industry continue to pay attention and guide the Z125 Factory to implement the project in accordance with regulations on project management, technology, labor safety, fire prevention and fighting and environmental sanitation.
