According to the Organizing Committee, the contest received nearly 1,000 entries from all over the country. From that rich number of articles, more than 110 quality works that met the rules were selected for the preliminary round. Next, the Jury selected the 33 best works for the final round. As a result, there were 11 award-winning works, including 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes and 5 Encouragement Prizes. The People's Army Newspaper won the Second Prize with the 2-part series "The Imprint of Uncle Ho's Soldiers in the High Mountains of Bac Kan " by the group of authors: Pham Quang Kien, Vu Van Duy, Le Thi Thanh Hong, To Minh Ngoc.

According to the Organizing Committee, the most valuable thing about the contest is its wide reach and enthusiastic response from many people - from professional journalists, reporters, editors to non-professional writers such as teachers, students, medical staff , workers, farmers and even overseas Vietnamese. Many works were carefully invested, vividly reflecting ordinary but extraordinary people, those who overcame difficulties to contribute to enriching their homeland and spreading the spirit of "for everyone".

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee, Head of the Competition Steering Committee, affirmed that this is an activity of profound political and social significance, contributing to discovering, honoring and replicating typical advanced examples, while at the same time widely propagating the Party and State's policies and guidelines on new rural construction and sustainable poverty reduction.

On behalf of the Board's leadership, he congratulated the winning authors, thanked the Central Office for New Rural Area Coordination, the press and media agencies, and the Jury for their objective and dedicated work, contributing to the success of the contest.

In the coming time, the Central Emulation and Commendation Committee will continue to promote its role as the advisory body of the Ministry of Home Affairs on emulation and commendation work, closely coordinate with ministries, branches, localities and media agencies to discover, commend and replicate good models and good practices; innovate the content and form of propaganda; build emulation and commendation work that is increasingly substantial, practical and in-depth.
