The works displayed in the exhibition offer a diversity of materials and forms of expression, from oil, lacquer, watercolor to sculpture, reflecting the creative depth and richness of artistic inspiration of Son Tay painters.

Each work is a piece of memory, a unique perspective on people, nature and the rhythm of life in the homeland in the modern flow, expressing the passionate love of Son Tay painters for the Doai region in particular and many lands of the Fatherland in general.

There, visitors can encounter the peaceful, poetic beauty of the autumn afternoon in the Doai region, can explore the beauty of the dawn at Son Tay ancient citadel or the sunset on Dong Mo lake, and can also travel to many famous heritages and landscapes of the country such as: Kinh Thien Palace, Quan Lan wind pass, Cat Ba rock beach...

The highlight of the exhibition is the intersection between tradition and modernity: from the folk material of lacquer to the breath of realism in oil paintings, or the sophistication in silk paintings.

The sculptures in the exhibition also demonstrate depth of thought and the ability to express space, creating a harmonious and lively artistic whole.

The exhibition “The Eyes of Son Tay People” is not only an opportunity for the public to enjoy unique works of art, but also an opportunity to honor the creative spirit of the artists, affirming the position of Son Tay fine arts in the flow of contemporary Vietnamese culture.

The exhibition opens at 5:30 p.m. on November 1 on the 2nd floor, Building B - Vietnam Fine Arts Museum (66 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Hanoi ) and lasts until November 7, 2025.
