In his opening speech and introduction to the workshop, comrade Doan Minh Long, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association, emphasized the role of the press in the new period, especially in the context of Khanh Hoa province facing a new turning point in development. The workshop is a forum for scientists , journalists, and managers to share knowledge and experience as well as opportunities to propose and recommend valuable scientific and practical recommendations to enhance the role of the press in the development process of Khanh Hoa province in the coming time.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, Permanent Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee delivered a congratulatory speech at the workshop.

Journalist Tran Trong Dung, Vice President of Vietnam Journalists Association, spoke at the conference.

The workshop received nearly 50 papers focusing on analyzing and clarifying the historical and current contributions of Khanh Hoa press in the cause of innovation and integration, and recently in propagating and implementing Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW, dated January 28, 2022 of the Politburo on building and developing Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045; Resolution No. 55/2022/QH15 and specific resolutions and policies on Khanh Hoa development.

In addition, delegates also analyzed the role, social responsibility and professional ethics of journalists in the current period; proposed solutions to develop Khanh Hoa press in a professional, modern and humane direction, associated with digital transformation, applying new technology, to improve the quality and spread of communication work in the new context.

Colonel, Dr. Lai The Thong, Deputy Commander of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command presented a speech.

Journalist Pham Duc Thai, Head of Department, Director of the Center for Information and Scientific Research, National Political Publishing House, Truth, presented a media report on Khanh Hoa tourism.

Lieutenant Colonel, PhD Nguyen Huu Hoi, School of Information Officers presented a paper.

In addition, the presentations also proposed specific mechanisms, policies and solutions for Khanh Hoa press to accompany the province's socio-economic development, especially in breakthrough areas: Urban development, industry, marine economy, high-quality tourism, environmental protection, and improving the quality of human resources.

The workshop also discussed directions for research, training, fostering, improving the qualifications, political capacity and professional ethics of journalists; determining the role of the press in propaganda work to implement the organization and operation of the two-level local government; implementing the Central Resolutions on building and developing Khanh Hoa province and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo on private economic development; Resolution of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on double-digit economic growth in the period 2025 - 2030 and Resolution of the 1st Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
