Khanh Hoa: Digital technology connects heritage with the public and community

VHO - Implementing the direction of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is actively preparing activities to participate in the Digital Technology Festival 2025 with the key goal of bringing heritage closer to the public through advanced technology applications.

Accordingly, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has assigned the Provincial Cultural Center to preside over and closely coordinate with the Department of Tourism Management, the Provincial Museum, the Provincial Library, and the Center for Cultural Heritage Conservation to develop the display content, construct and decorate the booth.

The booth will introduce a series of outstanding digital transformation activities in the field of culture, conservation and promotion of heritage and relic values ​​in the province, including: Po Nagar Tower using VR360 technology (via the link: https://vr360.com.vn/projects/ponagar-nhatrang).

Digitizing heritage and 3D digitizing historical and cultural artifacts and structures (access: http://khanhhoa360.vn/vi). Smart Lookup provides an online map of Khanh Hoa relics (at: https://bddt.disanvanhoa.khanhhoa.vn) along with QR Guiding Codes to introduce, explain, and trace the origin of artifacts and antiquities.

Displaying QR Codes helps to quickly access digital library documents, audiobooks and rich digital information stores, along with many other related digital transformation activities in the fields of culture, sports and tourism.

To ensure effective operation, assigned units must proactively contact the Department of Science and Technology to obtain information on booth size and facilities.

At the same time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also requested that staff be assigned to be on duty at the booth to guide people and tourists to fully enjoy the digital technology experiences on the culture and heritage being introduced.

In addition to the exhibition, the Traditional Arts Theater is assigned to host important art programs, including: Opening (7:30 a.m. on November 8, 2025), musical and dance performances (7:00 p.m. on November 8, 2025) and Closing (7:30 p.m. on November 8, 2025), along with other nighttime performances throughout the Festival (November 7-8, 2025).
