Residents in Dai Lanh commune ( Khanh Hoa ) said that after less than a year of being put into use, the road connecting National Highway 1 with the Bac Van Phong general port area has many potholes and the road surface has peeled off, making it very dangerous for people to travel, especially at night.
According to records, many locations on the more than 5.2km long route were severely damaged, especially the section through residential areas and areas near the port.
When it rains, water stagnates in potholes, making it difficult for motorcyclists to see and easy to slip and fall.
This is a project invested by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board , constructed by Khanh Hoa Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company , to be handed over at the end of 2024.
Speaking with Tuoi Tre , Mr. Hoang Van Khanh - Head of the Project Management Board, Infrastructure, Economic Zone and Industrial Park Management Board of Khanh Hoa province (project investor) - said that the unit has grasped the situation and requested the contractor to urgently fix the damaged locations, at the same time review the causes and re-evaluate the quality of the road surface.
Mr. Khanh said that measures will soon be taken to ensure people's safety and prevent the damage from continuing.
