Ha Giang adjusts investment policy for Tuyen Quang-Ha Giang expressway project

The People's Council of Ha Giang province has just issued a Resolution approving the adjustment of the investment policy for the Tuyen Quang-Ha Giang expressway project (phase 1), the section passing through Ha Giang province.

The adjustment objective is: Adjust the expressway level from level 80, with a calculated speed of 80 km/h, to level 100 expressway, with a calculated speed of 100 km/h.

Regarding the scale of investment, the level 100 expressway has a designed speed of 100 km/h, some sections through particularly difficult terrain are designed with a speed of 80 km/h.

Complete construction of a 4-lane expressway; roadbed cross-section width 25.25m; road surface width 15m; emergency lane width 6m; safety strip width 2m; median strip width 0.75m; shoulder width 1.5m.

The total investment of the project is over 5,000 billion VND, of which the central budget is over 4,000 billion VND; the local budget is over 990 billion VND. The project implementation progress is from 2022 to 2026.

Before the adjustment, the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project, phase 1 (section through Ha Giang province) was started in May 2023. The section through Ha Giang province is more than 27km long with a total investment of 3,198 billion VND. The scale is 2 lanes, compensation and site clearance according to the construction scope of the complete 4-lane expressway.
