Ha Nam lets students stay home from school to cope with storm No. 3

Faced with the developments of storm No. 3, which is forecast to be very strong, with a high risk of natural disasters and complicated developments; implementing Official Dispatch No. 1767/UBND-NNTNMT dated September 5, 2024 of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province on focusing on emergency response to storm No. 3 in 2024, and at the same time implementing Decision No. 1071/QD-UBND dated August 7, 2024 of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province promulgating the framework of the 2024-2025 school year plan for preschool education, general education and continuing education in Ha Nam province; on September 6, 2024, the Department of Education and Training issued Document No. 1042/SGDĐT-VP on allowing students to take time off from school to respond to storm No. 3 in 2024.

Accordingly, the Departmentof Education and Training requests Heads of units and schools to implement the following contents: Notify preschool children, students, and trainees to take a day off on Saturday (September 7, 2024) and arrange make-up teaching time at a suitable time.

Assigning on-duty staff, organizing inspections, implementing prevention and response to storms with the spirit of proactive prevention and response at the highest level, ensuring safety of life and minimizing damage to property and facilities; strictly implementing Official Dispatch No. 1039/SGDĐT-VP dated September 6, 2024 of the Department of Education and Training on focusing on proactive response to storm No. 3 ( YAGI ).

The Department of Education and Training requests that units and schools seriously implement the above content and promptly report to the Department of Education and Training when unusual situations occur.
