Hanoi: Expected to announce exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 in early July

It is expected that between July 4 and 6, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 at public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year. This year, the exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 will be announced at the same time.

At noon on June 8, after the end of the Math exam, which is also the final exam of the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training held an information conference about the exam.

At the conference, the leaders of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training affirmed that, up to this point, the exam supervision has been carried out safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations; the transportation of exam papers has been carried out safely and securely; the coordination of forces in the exam organization has been carried out synchronously and closely. “Up to this point, the organization of the exam has been successful, but there is still much work to be done, such as marking, announcing scores, and benchmark scores,” said Tran The Cuong, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the City's Examination and Admissions Steering Committee and Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training. He said that immediately after completing the invigilation work, the Department of Education and Training had prepared the conditions to carry out the marking work.

The Department has directed the work of marking and grading the exams to be carried out urgently, scientifically , and carefully, ensuring progress to announce exam scores and benchmark scores at the same time as planned. The Department of Education and Training has mobilized more than 2,000 staff to do the exam marking work.

“We will be determined to do it and do it well and carefully. After marking, the Board of Examiners will select the papers to re-mark and cross-mark, ensuring fairness for all candidates,” said Mr. Tran The Cuong.

It is expected that from July 4 to 6, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 of public high schools for the 2025-2026 school year. This is the first year that the announcement of exam scores and admission scores has been innovated and implemented at the same time.
