According to information from the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel, on the morning of June 17, Iran simultaneously launched 20 ballistic missiles into Israel, marking a shift to daytime attack tactics, which could increase the risk of casualties and damage.

Central and northern areas of Israel remain in danger zones as the conflict between Iran and Israel continues to escalate.

Faced with the increasingly deteriorating security situation, a number of foreign embassies in Israel (including China, the US, Russia, etc.) have called on their citizens to proactively seek ways to return home or leave for a third country, especially recommending the use of land border crossings to Jordan or Egypt. Currently, Israeli airspace remains closed and international commercial flights are unlikely to resume in the near future.

Based on the actual situation and to ensure the safety of life and property of Vietnamese citizens in Israel, the Vietnamese Embassy informs our compatriots and recommends as follows:

Be proactive in preparing and finding ways to leave Israel via land border crossings, especially towards Jordan or Egypt, when security and safety conditions allow. We ask that you remain calm and closely monitor Vietnamese community information groups for specific updates and instructions.

Register your wish to leave Israel for Vietnam or to a third country via the Google Form provided by the Embassy in the link here .

Thereby, the Embassy will make a list, summarize the needs and coordinate with the relevant agencies of Israel and Vietnam, the embassies of countries in Israel and Vietnam abroad to coordinate the development of appropriate support plans for each target group, each time and depending on the development of the situation. The registration deadline is 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

Overseas Vietnamese continue to strictly comply with local security regulations, fully prepare essential items (personal documents, medicine, food, spare batteries, etc.) to be able to evacuate and take temporary shelter for a short time in case their house is damaged and they cannot continue to stay. In addition, they need to keep in regular contact with the Embassy.
