Hanoi: Urgent investigation into the cause of the fire in Thuong Tin

At about 4:30 a.m. on September 16, a fire broke out at a temporary mechanical production shed in Van Giap village, Thuong Tin commune, Hanoi, causing serious consequences, killing 4 people in a family.

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh has just issued a dispatch regarding the fire in Van Giap village, Thuong Tin commune, Hanoi city.

On behalf of the Government and Prime Minister , Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh sent his condolences to the relatives and family of the victim.

The Deputy Prime Minister directed the Hanoi People's Committee to direct the organization of thoughtful visits, timely encouragement, material and spiritual support, and create the best conditions to support the victims' families; closely coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to direct functional forces to focus on overcoming the consequences, promptly investigate the cause of the fire, and strictly handle violations (if any) according to the provisions of law.

Along with that, the Deputy Prime Minister requested to strengthen propaganda work, instruct on fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue and relief skills; focus on checking and overcoming conditions to ensure fire and explosion safety; proactively develop plans to prevent and fight fires and explosions in the area.
