Hanoi organizes many art programs on the occasion of the Liberation of the South

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), art units under the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports will organize art performances to serve the people of the capital.

The shows were held in the centers of several districts in the city, from April 27 to May 7.

Accordingly, on the stage of Ba Kieu Temple area, on the evening of April 30, Thang Long Puppetry Theatre will organize a large-scale art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. On the occasion of the Dien Bien Phu victory anniversary, Thang Long Puppetry Theatre will perform in the center of Cau Giay district on the evening of May 7.

Thang Long Music and Dance Theatre will hold two shows, including a large-scale show on the evening of April 29 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hoan Kiem District. The second show of the Theatre will take place on the stage in front of the Quyet Tu De To Quoc Sac Sinh Monument, Ba Kieu Temple area, Hoan Kiem District on the evening of May 4.

The Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theatre will hold two shows on the evenings of April 27 in Ung Hoa district and April 30 in Dong Anh district. The Hanoi Cai Luong Theatre will perform in Me Linh district on the evening of April 27 and in Thanh Oai district on the evening of May 4. The Hanoi Cheo Theatre will hold an art program in Phu Xuyen district on the evening of April 27 and in Nam Tu Liem district on the evening of April 30.

Also on the evening of April 27, the Hanoi Drama Theater will hold a performance in Thach That district and on the evening of April 30, it will perform in Chuong My district. The City Cultural Center will perform two nights on the evening of April 27 in Ha Dong district and on the evening of April 29 in Hoai Duc district.

The art programs on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national reunification focused on the theme of praising the Communist Party of Vietnam, praising President Ho Chi Minh and the love for the homeland, country and people of Vietnam.

In particular, the content of the performances praises the nation's revolutionary struggle tradition, the stature, great historical value, and the great and profound significance of the Southern Liberation Day, National Reunification Day April 30, and the Dien Bien Phu victory May 7 to the nation and the era.

The programs also included many performances praising the achievements of the country and Ho Chi Minh City after 50 years of national reunification, especially in the current process of innovation and international integration; about the aspiration to rise up for a strong and prosperous Vietnam; about the new era - the era of national growth.

Elaborately organized and staged with the participation of many famous artists, the art programs will bring a joyful and exciting atmosphere, strengthening faith in the Party's leadership on the occasion of celebrating many important events of the country.
