Fuel prices drop twice in a row, gold prices fluctuate

Last week (from May 5 to 9), the prices of gasoline and oil decreased twice in a row (one retail price adjustment period was postponed after the April 30 and May 1 holidays and one retail price adjustment period according to regulations every Thursday). Specifically, after two adjustments, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by a total of VND461/liter, to VND18,777/liter; RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND459/liter, to VND19,179/liter.

Similarly, diesel oil price decreased by 715 VND/liter, to 16,809 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 774 VND/liter, to 16,941 VND/liter; fuel oil decreased by 991 VND/kg, to 15,533 VND/kg.

Gold prices fluctuated a lot last week. Accordingly, gold prices suddenly decreased slightly at the beginning of the week, then increased sharply by about 2.4-3 million VND/tael in the middle of the week, then "turned around" and decreased by more than 1.5 million VND/tael at the end of the week. Currently, the price of SJC gold bars is at 120.7 million VND/tael for sale.

According to the Dong Nai Market Management Department, the price of live pigs in localities in the province last week was generally around 73-76 thousand VND/kg.
