According to the Hanoi Department of Tourism , in February 2024, the total number of tourists to Hanoi is estimated at 2.18 million, up 7.1% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international tourists are estimated at 383 thousand, up 15% over the same period last year (including 270 thousand international tourists with accommodation); domestic tourists are estimated at 1.79 million, up 5.6% over the same period last year. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at VND 8,057 billion, up 9% over the same period in 2023.

In the first two months of 2023, the total number of tourists to Hanoi is estimated at 4.23 million, up 11.9% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international tourists are estimated at 890 thousand, up 52.4% over the same period last year (including 628 thousand international tourists with accommodation); domestic tourists are estimated at 3.34 million, up 4.5% over the same period last year. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 16,416 billion VND, up 20.9% over the same period in 2023.

Coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to promote the development of tourism activities in the walking space around Hoan Kiem Lake and its vicinity; the walking route around the moat of Son Tay Ancient Citadel; the walking space in the area of Thien Quang Lake - Thong Nhat Park, Hai Ba Trung District...
