Two kickboxing clubs come into operation

(HG) - The Hau Giang kickboxing department set a goal of opening 4 clubs in 2023. The good news is that in the second quarter, the department put into operation 2 kickboxing clubs in Long My town and Chau Thanh A district, with about 30 martial artists participating. Because it is a newly developed martial art in the province, few people know about it, so it has not attracted martial artists to practice. It is expected that the department will continue to establish clubs in Vi Thuy district and Nga Bay city in the third quarter.

Establishing a kickboxing club at the grassroots level is a long-term solution that the department is aiming for to develop the martial arts movement, combined with finding additional resources for the Hau Giang kickboxing team. The Hau Giang kickboxing team was established in early 2022, currently has 16 athletes (10 teams, 6 young).
