The two bridges that were swept away were the suspension bridge of Da Trang village and Khanh Nam suspension bridge, which connected the commune center and neighboring areas. According to reporters on November 22, only cables remained at both ends of the bridges, and the iron frames were washed away by floodwaters onto the riverbank. Mr. Gia Hai (Da Trang village) choked up: "These are bridges that have been with our people for many years. Now, if we want to go to the other side of Cai River to work in the fields, we have to go around for many kilometers."
Below are images of what remains of the two bridges that reporters recorded on November 22.
