(Dan Tri) - Taking advantage of their trips abroad, Hong Phuc and Mai Loan both wore traditional Vietnamese dresses and walked comfortably in the "Western world", causing many eyes to look up and follow the two Vietnamese girls.

Because of the nature of her job as a flight attendant, Hong Phuc has the opportunity to travel to many countries and come into contact with many cultures around the world .

Currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh City, the girl born in 1995 said that it was her love of traveling that connected her to her current job.

Working and satisfying her passion for traveling at the same time makes Phuc love and want to stick with the job even more. Up to now, she has set foot in more than 10 countries and territories. For her, each trip is a new experience for herself.

Taking advantage of their work-related trips , the two came up with the idea of wearing conical hats and ao ba ba, traditional costumes of the Southern people, to wear in the "West".

"The Ao Ba Ba has long been the traditional costume of the people of the Southern land. They enhance the simple yet elegant beauty of the girls in the Southern countryside. Based on this idea, my best friend and I decided to choose the Ao Ba Ba as an indispensable item in our luggage.

Furthermore, many people have successfully promoted the image of Vietnamese ao dai in foreign countries. And wearing ao dai and doing funny actions will not match the elegance of the traditional dress. So we wanted to choose ao ba ba, creating simplicity and closeness," Hong Phuc explained.

Wearing colorful Ao Ba Ba, Hong Phuc and Mai Loan confidently walked on the crowded streets of Paris (France). This was also the first setting for the video that "went viral" on social media.

The beauty of Vietnamese girls on the streets of London (UK).

After receiving many positive responses from local people as well as the online community, the two Vietnamese girls continued to "show off" the Ao Ba Ba in London (UK), Melbourne (Australia) and then to Japan.

"We wore Ao Ba Ba and filmed in many crowded areas or on the street. We received a lot of attention and interest. Some people even asked where we were from and complimented us on how cute our outfits were.

This is an opportunity for me to introduce and promote the beauty of Vietnamese culture to international friends. Even when filming the video in London, many people praised the beauty and wanted to buy it back," Hong Phuc happily said.

The flight attendant born in 1995 said that the original purpose of both of them was to record the video to save memorable memories and at the same time contribute a small part to spreading the beautiful image of Vietnamese girls abroad.

Before each trip, she prepares a few simple clothes that can be easily bought at Binh Tan fabric market. To add to the "countryside vibe", the two girls accessorize with clogs and earrings.

Both girls want to bring a small part of themselves to contribute to spreading the beauty of Vietnamese culture abroad.

Due to the busy nature of their work and constant travel, the two did not have much time to prepare carefully and simply thought of creating fun videos. Therefore, she was very surprised to know that her videos were well received by young people. Some videos even attracted more than 1.5 million views.

"Every time I wear my hometown's clothes abroad, I feel confident and very proud. We both did not expect to receive so much love from the online community, including Vietnamese people living abroad. Everyone loves us and jokingly calls us Aunt 3, Aunt 7 or even the youngest aunt in the countryside," Phuc revealed.

If given the opportunity, Hong Phuc and Mai Loan will continue to bring Ao Ba Ba to many new lands, spreading the beautiful image of Vietnamese women so that more international friends will know about them.
