June 30, Organizing Committee Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF 2024 has officially announced the identities of the 2 fireworks teams entering the finals, after 4 dramatic competition nights with excellent performances by 8 talents around the world .

The jury consists of famous musicians, painters, heads of foreign diplomatic agencies in Vietnam, and is consulted by the consulting unit - Global 2000 Company.

DIFF 2024 is the competition compete of 8 competing teams from the following countries: USA, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, China and Vietnam. Through 4 dramatic competition nights, each team demonstrated their own techniques and identity, creating performances that were not too different in quality.

After 3 hours of tension to find the two best teams, based on the scores of the teams evaluated by the Jury through the qualifying rounds and the evaluation opinions of the consulting units, the Jury officially announced the Finnish team and the Chinese team as the two best teams competing in the final round of DIFF 2024.

This is considered the most "unbelievable" result in the DIFF because Finland and China are two "arch-rivals" who met each other in the final qualifying round. The confrontation on the night of June 29 between these two fireworks superpowers was likened to "the early finale", and now it has become a reality.

This result is based on a strict scoring criteria including: originality, design ideas and adaptation to the performance theme; diversity, richness of effects and intensity of colors; synchronization between music and performance; ending and overall impression of the performance; emotions and evaluation of the Jury.

Coming to DIFF for the first time, Liuyang Jingduan New-art Display (China) won a place in the final.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, musician Nguyen Duc Trinh - a member of the jury said: "We feel sorry for the other very strong and creative teams like Italy or France, with very low quality differences, but we cannot bring all the teams to the finals."

Also at the announcement ceremony, to ensure objectivity for the final night's performances, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee - the chief judge, conducted a draw to determine the order of performance. Accordingly, the Chinese team will perform first and the Finnish team will perform second.

Immediately after this announcement ceremony, Sun Group will continue to invite the two winning teams back to Vietnam, continue to provide fireworks, technical and logistical support to have the most memorable competition night in the DIFF 2024 season.

Coming to the DIFF 2024 festival season, the Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks AB team (Finland) brought a performance called: "A Million Dreams", becoming the second team to reach the final round.

The jury also announced the award system of DIFF 2024, including: the DIFF 2024 Champion team will receive a prize worth: 20,000 USD with a trophy and certificate; The Runner-up team will receive a prize worth 10,000 USD with a trophy and certificate.

This year, the award for the Most Favorite Team (voted by the audience) will have a prize worth 5,000 USD and a certificate. In particular, with the unique and creative performances from the competing teams, the DIFF 2024 Organizing Committee decided to add the Creativity Award with a prize worth 5,000 USD and a certificate. The awards will be announced and presented immediately after the performance on the final night.

The final night of DIFF 2024 with the theme "Made of Young Generation - Future Beat" will take place on the evening of July 13, with the competition of the two best teams, promising to bring an eye-catching light show on the Han River in Da Nang.
