In the first 6 months of 2024, the traffic police force of the whole province inspected and handled 21,555 cases of traffic safety violations.

From July 1, implementing Circular No. 28/2024/TT-BCA dated June 29, 2024 of the Ministry of Public Security , people will be able to present information and documents related to the driver and vehicle via the national identification application (VNeID) for the traffic police to check and handle. During the processing, if the violator presents documents via VNeID, the authorities will temporarily detain the documents in the electronic environment.

Specifically, at point g, clause 2, article 21 stipulates that in case documents related to people and means of transport have been integrated and updated in the electronic identification, electronic identification account on VNeID, the database managed by the Ministry of Public Security, when temporarily holding the documents, the competent person shall temporarily hold the documents in the electronic environment. At the same time, update information about the temporary holding of those documents on the administrative violation handling database system and synchronize with the national identification application, the database managed by the Ministry of Public Security.

Thereby, violators and vehicle owners know and comply with the provisions of the law on road traffic order and safety, serving the competent authorities in inspecting, controlling and handling violations.

In the first days of implementing the above circular, traffic police forces across the province increased propaganda and instructed people on related regulations.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the traffic police force of Hai Duong province inspected and handled 21,555 cases of traffic safety violations, fined over 61.5 billion VND, revoked 6,636 driving licenses, and detained 6,650 vehicles. Of which, 4,283 cases violated alcohol concentration; 5,978 cases of speeding; 260 cases of overloading, extending the vehicle's body; 6,675 cases of violating helmet regulations; 2,955 cases of not having or not carrying a driving license...
