According to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station, from the night of May 14 to 18, the compressed low pressure trough passing through the North combined with high-altitude wind convergence caused the Hai Duong area to have cloudy skies, scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the evening and at night, southeast winds at level 2 - 3, and daytime temperatures ranging from 23 - 31 degrees Celsius.

The probability of rain in the coming days ranges from about 70% or more, concentrated in Cam Giang, Gia Loc, Ninh Giang, Kim Thanh, Nam Sach districts, Kinh Mon town, Hai Duong city, and Chi Linh city.

From May 19 to 24, the low pressure trough gradually filled up, the high-altitude wind convergence weakened, the weather in the province changed to cloudy, sunny days, the highest temperature was 34 degrees Celsius. During this period, some days had showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and at night.
