Save 5 billion VND on electricity bill after 8 months of using solar energy

Solar power meets about 80% of the total electricity demand of the entire factory.

According to a representative of Pouyun Vietnam Electronics Co., Ltd. (Chi Linh), after more than 8 months of using the rooftop solar power system, the company has saved more than 5 billion VND in electricity bills. This is one of the factories investing in a large-capacity rooftop solar power system in Hai Duong .

From September 2023, the company will install a solar power system, using 3,468 rooftop solar panels, with a power generation capacity of 1.9 MW with a total investment of VND 29 billion.

Currently, the factory uses a rooftop solar system in a “self-production, self-consumption” manner. The total electricity consumption capacity of the factory is 2.01 MW, of which the rooftop solar system can supply about 80% of the demand. From September 2023 to the end of April 2025, the solar system has generated 2 million kWh of electricity, equivalent to 5 billion VND.

Pouyun Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. is a 100% Taiwanese (China) invested enterprise, specializing in the production of speaker components and audio equipment. Established in 2019, the company is headquartered in Cong Hoa Industrial Park (Chi Linh) and is creating jobs for about 2,000 workers.
