Two students returned nearly 26 million VND worth of property to the person who lost it.

On May 12, at Lai Son Secondary and High School (Lai Son Commune, Kien Hai District, Kien Giang ), Lai Son Commune Police awarded a certificate of merit "Good people, good deeds" from the Commune People's Committee Chairman to two students Dang Thanh Gioi and Huynh Tan Nguyen (16 years old, both studying in class 10A1 of the school) for returning lost property.

In the presence of the police, Dang Thanh Gioi and Huynh Tan Nguyen returned the property to the person who lost it.

Previously, on the afternoon of April 26, while walking on a road in Bai Nha A hamlet, Lai Son commune, Gioi and Nguyen picked up a wallet containing more than 5.9 million VND and a gold bracelet. Immediately after, the two children brought it to Lai Son commune police station to report and hand it over, asking them to find the person who dropped it and return it.

Lai Son Commune Police in coordination with Lai Son Secondary and High School commended and rewarded Dang Thanh Gioi and Huynh Tan Nguyen in front of the whole school.

After receiving the property, Lai Son Commune Police quickly verified and identified the owner of the property as Ms. NTMT (32 years old, residing locally).

According to Ms. T, the lost property included more than 5.9 million VND and an 18K gold bracelet worth about 20 million VND. The commune police organized the full return of the property, worth nearly 26 million VND, to Ms. T. according to regulations.

Ms. T. was moved and sent her sincere thanks to the two students mentioned above and the Lai Son Commune Police force for helping her find her lost property.
