The technology supply-demand connection session is a clear demonstration of Hai Phong city's proactiveness and determination in implementing the major goals of Resolution 57.
The Resolution emphasizes the requirement to strongly develop the science , technology and innovation market, with enterprises as the center, research institutes and universities as research subjects, and the State playing the role of creating and supporting development.
Thoroughly implementing that directive, Hai Phong city has been focusing on building an innovation ecosystem, in which strengthening the connection between research institutions and businesses is identified as one of the key tasks.

The event was organized in coordination between the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong city, institutes and centers under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Vietnam Maritime University and the Institute of Marine Research.
The objective of the networking session is to enhance the exchange, exploitation and effective application of scientific research results into production and business practices; promote consulting, technology transfer and commercialization activities; support businesses in investing in technological innovation and placing research orders; and at the same time create a foundation for developing the technology market and innovation in the city.

At the networking session, representatives of research institutes introduced many typical technologies, such as advanced material manufacturing technology serving the railway, electricity, and civil construction industries; digital transformation software solutions in business administration; smart technology serving seaport operations and shipping services... The networking session attracted the direct participation of 30 businesses, with a 1-1 connection format, helping the parties to exchange closely, practically, and effectively.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong City emphasized: The state management agency is committed to continuing to create a favorable environment to promote technology connection, transfer and innovation activities; increase support for businesses through programs and projects on innovation and digital transformation; support the development of a system of intermediary organizations, technology exchanges and innovation centers; and at the same time promote the formation of a modern, transparent and effective science, technology and innovation market.
The connection session is expected to open up many opportunities for long-term strategic cooperation between scientists and businesses, gradually realizing the goal of developing science, technology, and innovation in accordance with the direction of Resolution 57-NQ/TW, contributing to building Hai Phong into a center of innovation and dynamic socio -economic development of the region and the whole country.
