Hai Phong inspects and handles white-plate trucks 'disguising' as transport businesses

The Traffic Safety Committee of Hai Phong city will inspect passenger and cargo transportation activities by car in the city.

On October 30, the City Traffic Safety Committee issued a plan to inspect traffic safety and order assurance for passenger and cargo transport by car in the city.

Accordingly, the City Traffic Safety Committee will conduct inspections on two topics. The first topic is on state management of freight and passenger transport activities. In particular, the focus will be on inspecting the contents directed by the City People's Committee according to the reflection of the press and the internet. The inspection period is from November 4 to November 14.

The second topic is the business of passenger transport by car. Focus on checking the business of passenger transport by car carrying students and workers. The inspection period is from November 18 to November 28.

Previously, according to press reports, on many roads and construction sites in Hai Phong, trucks with white license plates regularly carried construction materials and scrap in and out like commercial transport vehicles, causing much outrage in public opinion. Illegal vehicles and illegal stations still exist in Hai Phong, causing disorder in traffic safety, budget loss, and distorting the competitive transport environment.

The objective of the inspection is to contribute to enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of transport activities, creating a healthy competitive environment for freight and passenger transport activities in the city. At the same time, promptly detect and prevent violations of freight and passenger transport activities, and strictly handle them according to regulations.
