Officers of the Regional Customs Branch XVI inspect import-export activities at Ta Lung international border gate, Cao Bang
Customs Branch Region XVI said that in October, import and export activities through the unit tended to decrease.

The import-export turnover of all types in the month reached over 219 million USD (down 33% compared to the previous month); the budget revenue reached over 83 billion VND (down 37% compared to the previous month); the situation of smuggling, trade fraud, and illegal transportation of goods across the border in the month did not have any hot spots, outstanding or complicated cases.
Accumulated from the beginning of the year to October 14, import-export turnover processed at Customs Branch Region XVI reached 2.2 billion USD.
Notably, the Department's budget collection result was 2,075 billion VND, reaching 223% of the assigned annual budget target.
