On the afternoon of December 14th, the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health announced that the locality had recorded several suspected cases of food poisoning, requiring emergency hospitalization.
According to initial information, from the afternoon of December 12th, many people were admitted to An Phuoc Hospital and Binh Thuan General Hospital for treatment with symptoms of abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, and fever.

Immediately afterwards, the Lam Dong Provincial Food Safety Department sent a working group to the hospitals to assess the situation and conduct epidemiological investigations. Initial questioning revealed that most patients had eaten bread from the same establishment in Phan Thiet ward before experiencing symptoms.
Currently, authorities are collecting food samples and related biological samples to send to the Pasteur Institute in Nha Trang for testing to determine the cause.
According to the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Health, approximately 36 people were hospitalized suspected of food poisoning. Of these, 19 are currently receiving inpatient treatment, while the remaining cases have stabilized and been discharged.
