On July 29, the non-profit organization VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) and Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to launch a new phase of the project “Opening the way to the future”, called “Opening the way to the future – New generation”.
The project continues to support ethnic minority female students in difficult circumstances to strive to study and develop life skills, thereby becoming responsible citizens and active resources contributing to changing the communities where they live.
According to the plan, the project will award full scholarships for 7 years from 2025-2026 to the end of the 2031-2032 school year, accompanying students from high school until they complete university.

35 ethnic minority female students nationwide with excellent academic achievements, strong will and a desire to contribute to the community will be supported with scholarships (including tuition, living expenses, soft skills training programs, career orientation...).
The project also prioritizes female students who are passionate and oriented to pursue STEM ( science , technology, engineering and mathematics) and Medicine, fields that play a key role in Vietnam's digital transformation and sustainable development.
From the first signing ceremony, former Vice President and President of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund Truong My Hoa emphasized: “The signing ceremony is not just a matter of paper but a signing from the heart. I hope that the ethnic minority female students who benefit from this project will have the opportunity to change their lives.”
Since 2010, the program “Paving the way to the future” has awarded scholarships to 100 ethnic minority female students in the first two phases, with a total budget of more than 18.5 billion VND.

Notably, 100% of the supported children completed high school and continued their studies at university or college, with a graduation rate of 99%.
According to the survey, from 90% to 100% of female graduates have suitable jobs, many of them work in or close to their major.
Specifically, 9 students work in the medical and pharmaceutical fields, 37 students in economics , 16 students in education, 14 students in engineering and agriculture, and 19 students in social sciences.
In particular, many female students have become positive change agents in their communities and villages, inspiring and encouraging the younger generation to continue their education.
These figures demonstrate the practical and sustainable impact of the project in improving the quality of life, expanding career development opportunities and helping children become important resources for their families and communities.
