Hanoi National University recently announced that the course "Introduction to digital technology and artificial intelligence applications" will be officially deployed from the 2025-2026 school year in the form of fully online training, with modern content, updated according to international standards.
The course consists of 3 credits, built according to a modular structure, including compulsory and elective components suitable for different training fields such as natural sciences, engineering - technology, social sciences and humanities, economics - law, foreign languages and educational sciences...,
The subject aims to provide basic knowledge and skills, as a premise for students to acquire specialized courses on technology and artificial intelligence applications in specialized fields of training.

Not only stopping at teaching familiar information technology knowledge and applications as before, the course "Introduction to digital technology and artificial intelligence applications" also focuses on updated content, approaching the digital competency framework of countries around the world such as: data mining; digital communication; creativity in digital environment; digital security; exploiting and applying artificial intelligence to serve learning and research in different career fields.
The course especially emphasizes promoting independent and creative thinking, not depending on artificial intelligence for students - the young generation of intellectuals, young human resources, while ensuring academic integrity and ethical issues, responsibility in applying artificial intelligence.
Compulsory and elective knowledge modules are designed in a modern way, integrating theory - practice - experience for learners through flexible teaching and learning methods such as video lectures, situational simulations, practical exercises, projects, simple application products, online class groups and exchange of answers from lecturers and academic advisors.
It is expected that by the end of May, this course will be issued and officially applied for online teaching from next September for first-year students of Hanoi National University.
In 2025, 12 schools under Hanoi National University will enroll nearly 20,300 students, an increase of nearly 2,300 compared to last year.
Last year, Hanoi National University recruited students through direct admission, giving priority to students with high academic achievements; considering high school graduation exam scores; based on HSA capacity assessment test scores; other methods (capacity assessment test scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University, international certificates, interviews, aptitude tests...).
Last year's tuition fees at these schools were around 14-100 million VND, lowest at the University of Education, highest at the University of Economics.
