Welcoming the election day of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; responding to the event program "Ca Mau - Destination 2021" and continuing to carry out the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", this morning, May 1, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of U Minh district and U Minh Ha National Park to organize a cycling and walking competition through the forest, together experiencing and discovering forest products at U Minh Ha National Park. This is also an activity in the series of events "U Minh Forest Fragrance".

Athletes participating in the cycling and walking competition through the forest are officials, civil servants, public employees and workers working at departments, branches, sectors, unions at the provincial level, districts and Ca Mau city; armed forces, professional schools, businesses, sports clubs...

Accordingly, the competition distance for the sport walking through the forest is 7 km; the competition distance for the sport cycling through the forest is 15 km.

As a result, in each subject and each competition (male - female), the Organizing Committee awarded 1 First prize, 1 Second prize, 1 Third prize and 5 Encouragement prizes.

Mr. Tran Hieu Hung, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, awarded the First, Second and Third prizes to female athletes who walked through the forest.

During the journey to experience and explore forest products, the demonstration of harvesting fish in ponds and using traps to catch fish in canals and ditches at U Minh Ha National Park created a lot of excitement for viewers.
