Continuing the program of the 2024 Van Ho District Ban Flower Festival, on the evening of March 16, in Chieng Khoa commune, the final round of the "Ban Flower Beauty" contest took place.

The final round of the “Hoa Ban Beauty” contest has 13 contestants from communes in Van Ho district. Before that, the contestants went through the preliminary round of application and preliminary round before March 14 to select the best contestants to compete in the final round. The contestants are from 17 to under 25 years old, have good morals, have graduated from high school or are studying high school, have good looks, are brave and confident, and have the ability to perform on stage.

At the final night, 13 contestants had to go through 2 mandatory competitions. In the Ao Dai performance, the contestants were graceful in traditional Ao Dai, showing confidence on stage, exuding the beauty of young women and honoring the Vietnamese Ao Dai.

Top 5 contestants enter the behavioral round

In the national costume and talent competition, contestants freely choose the traditional costume of one of the ethnic groups in the Northwest region such as: Thai, Dao, Mong, Kinh, Muong... to perform to the music and narration introducing the beauty and meaning of the costume. At the same time, they show their own talents, such as: dancing, singing, presenting...

After 2 rounds, the judges selected 5 contestants with the highest total scores to enter the behavioral round. In this round, the girls drew questions, answered, and demonstrated their knowledge and understanding of the contents related to preserving and promoting national cultural values, developing community tourism, and rural agricultural economy , etc.

Interspersed between the competitions are cultural performances, creating a joyful and vibrant atmosphere, attracting a large audience to watch and cheer for the contestants.

The Organizing Committee awarded the Hoa Ban Beauty Prize and the Second and Third Beauty Prizes to the top 3 at the contest.

In the final result, contestant Ha To Uyen, from Suoi Bang commune, won the “Hoa Ban Beauty” award. The organizing committee also awarded the second and third place prizes to the two contestants who achieved high results in the contest and the secondary prizes: The beauty with the best response, the beauty with the most lovely face, the beauty with the most beautiful national costume performance and the beauty with the best talent performance.
