Last night, June 7, the final round of the contest "Searching for Student Talents of Ton Duc Thang University - TDTU's Got Talent Season 5" took place at the school's hall 2A in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City with 12 contestants/groups, corresponding to 12 excellent performances.

The judges of the final round are Dr. Hoang Duan, director, screenwriter, Deputy Head of the Department of Arts and Culture Management, Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture; singer Doan Trang and Meritorious Artist Van Khanh.

In the end, the champion of the competition was Nguyen Phuc Tram Anh, a fourth-year student majoring in environmental science , Faculty of Environment and Labor Protection. Tram Anh gave everyone in the audience "goosebumps" with her performance of the immortal song My heart will go on from the movie Titanic with her powerful and emotional voice.

The runner-up of the competition was the Taekwondo TDTU Team and the third prize was the TDT Rappers group. The organizers also awarded 9 consolation prizes to the remaining performances in the final night yesterday.

TDTU Team Taekwondo is the runner-up.

Sharing with Thanh Nien Newspaper reporter, Nguyen Phuc Tram Anh said that until now, her emotions are still fluttering and emotional when she became the champion of TDTU's Got Talent Season 5. Tram Anh did not study vocal music. She said that since she was a student at Gia Dinh High School, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, she liked performing arts and extracurricular activities. When she entered university, she loved activities related to scientific research and the environment, so she chose environmental science as her major.

For Tram Anh, music is an indispensable part of life, giving her positive emotions, helping her overcome difficult times and stress from work and study. "There are times when I feel the most difficult, music helps me 80% to overcome it", the champion of the student talent search contest shared.

In the casting and semi-final round, the female student performed the songs Let it go; Someone like you . Currently in her final year, the female student also works part-time as an English teacher. English is Tram Anh's strong subject, and also her forte - besides singing.

However, the female student who loves singing does not plan to pursue art in the future. "I will work in a job that is suitable for my major. Singing is just a hobby to help me balance my life and work," said the singer of the immortal song in the movie Titanic .

TDTU's Got Talent is one of the school's annual activities, having been held for 5 seasons. This year the contest returns with the theme "BeYOUnique" with more than 80 performances competing in many fields such as singing, dancing, drama, magic, taekwondo, beatbox, rap composition...
