The Hong Bang 4 team from Hong Bang Secondary School, Cho Lon Ward (formerly District 5), Ho Chi Minh City, won the B2 category for ages 11-15.

The ROBOTACON World Robot Olympiad (WRO) 2025 STEM Robotics competition attracted 411 teams comprising 1,235 students from 278 schools. Primary, secondary, and high schools nationwide.
Contestants are divided into categories based on age, with the following events: Global Robotics Games, RoboMission, Future Innovators, and Robot Tennis.
After two regional qualifying rounds in the North, Central, and South of Vietnam, 30% of the selected contestants advanced to the national final round on August 6th at the Maple Leaf Gymnasium – CIS‑SSV‑CVK‑MLC International School System (Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
As a result, 34 teams comprising 68 students were selected to represent Vietnam at the WRO & Global Robotics Games (GRG) world finals in Singapore in November.
Now in its 12th year in Vietnam, this year's ROBOTACON WRO competition, themed "The Future of Robots," reflects the global trend of widespread application of robots and automation in all fields: healthcare, agriculture , manufacturing, education, and space exploration.
The competition not only challenges programming and engineering skills, but also encourages students to develop robotic solutions for the community – innovative, fair, and sustainable.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, the Chargé d'affaires ad interim of the Danish Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Lasse Pedersen Hjortshøj, praised the efforts of the contestants and the organizing committee. Mr. Lasse Pedersen Hjortshøj stated: "Investing in education is the most valuable and long-lasting investment, and it is also an investment in the future of the country. Robotacon WRO is not just a competition; it is a place to inspire students to think creatively and solve problems."
