Lang Chanh Forest Protection Department propagates management and BVR.
To make propaganda work effective, Lang Chanh District Forest Protection Department signed and implemented coordination programs with the District Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and Lang Chanh District Youth Union to coordinate to strengthen propaganda work on forest protection and development (BV&PTR), PCCCR, bringing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and policies in the forestry sector to the people. Directing local forest rangers to closely follow the grassroots to advise the Party Committee and commune-level authorities to carry out propaganda work on the loudspeaker system of the commune and village. Coordinate with mass organizations and villages to organize propaganda through People's conferences. Coordinate with the District Center for Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism to build a BVR&PTR and PCCCR column to report on forecasts and warnings of forest fire risks and documents on PCCCR work.
From the beginning of 2025 until now, Lang Chanh District Forest Protection Department has coordinated to propagate on village loudspeakers 100 times; through village and commune meetings, there have been 28 meetings with 1,208 participants...
Coordinated with the District Military Command to organize a conference for the militia and self-defense forces of 10 communes and towns with 50 participants. Coordinated with the Lang Chanh Protective Forest Management Board to organize a conference to propagate forest protection, fire prevention and fighting and biodiversity conservation for contracted households and forest protection teams with 97 participants. Coordinated with Lang Chanh District High School and the District Youth Union to organize 2 mobile fire prevention and fighting propaganda sessions with 80 participants.
Lang Chanh Forest Protection Department promotes PCCCR work.
In addition to propaganda work, Lang Chanh Forest Protection Department has strengthened the fight against illegal logging, trading, transportation, business and processing of forest products. Since the beginning of the year, the unit has organized 212 forest security inspections with 758 participants, detected, arrested and handled 5 violations, seized over 3m3 of various types of wood, and paid 11.5 million VND to the state budget.
Thanks to good propaganda work, it has contributed to ensuring forest security; violations of the Forestry Law have been detected and handled promptly; people's awareness of forestry work as well as income from forestry production has been raised. The existing forest area of Lang Chanh district has been well protected and developed.
Fire prevention and fighting training.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy, Head of Lang Chanh Forest Protection Department, said: Identifying the work of propaganda, dissemination and legal education in forest protection and development as the top priority, in recent years Lang Chanh Forest Protection Department has coordinated with functional departments, branches, communes, towns, and mass organizations to promote propaganda work. From there, helping people realize the particularly important role of forests in socio-economic development, protecting the ecological environment; actively participating in sustainable forest protection and development. In the coming time, Lang Chanh District Forest Protection Department will continue to coordinate with political organizations in the area to promote propaganda, education, dissemination of laws, mobilizing people and forest owners to implement regulations on forest protection and forest fire prevention and control in many diverse and rich forms, especially in key villages and communes with forest fires. Promote the application of information technology associated with digital transformation in the management and dissemination of the Forestry Law and other legal documents to the people. Implement well the training and development of staff, promote the application of technology in BVR management, especially for local staff and rangers.
