Hau Loc conducts test operation drills for new communes

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Implementing the plan of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Steering Committee on the trial operation of newly established commune and ward Party committees and authorities, ready to officially operate from July 1, 2025, on June 19-20, the Standing Committee of Hau Loc District Party Committee organized a trial operation of newly established communes in the area.

Dong Thanh commune tested the operation of local Party committees and authorities after the administrative unit arrangement.

After the arrangement, Hau Loc district was reduced from 22 communes and towns to 5 communes, including: Trieu Loc, Dong Thanh, Hau Loc, Hoa Loc, Van Loc.

On June 19 and 20, 5 communes organized a full rehearsal of the activities of the Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee according to the proposed scenario. The rehearsal contents include: establishing a specialized agency to advise and assist the Party Committee and establishing a Party Committee and Party Cell of the administrative agency; organizing the first session of the People's Council of the commune, term 2025-2030, to carry out the steps, procedures and work contents related to the organization and staff of the People's Council and People's Committee of the commune; organizing the first meeting of the People's Committee of the commune to review and approve the working regulations, work program of the People's Committee of the commune and related contents.

After the pilot operation of the scenarios of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, the communes rehearsed the operation of the Public Administration Service Center to handle administrative procedures for people and businesses.

Van Loc commune rehearses the operation of two-level government.

According to initial assessments, the staff and civil servants of the communes have basically met the requirements when implementing a two-level local government. The skills of handling situations, receiving citizens, and coordination between related units are smooth. The common goal of the new communes in Hau Loc district is to start operating from July 1, 2025, ensuring uninterrupted work.
