Attending the festival were comrades: Lo Van Giang - Former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mua A Tru - Provincial Party Committee member, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Tan Phong ward; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Phong ward and people in residential group 16.
At the Festival, delegates reviewed the history and heroic traditions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, listened to a report summarizing the results achieved in 1 year of implementation and the key tasks in 2026 of the Front Work Committee of Residential Group No. 16.
Accordingly, in 2025, Residential Group No. 16 has achieved many outstanding achievements in consolidating the great solidarity bloc and socio-economic development. The residential group has 168 households with 637 people, mainly Kinh ethnic group, of which cadres and civil servants account for over 89%.
Over the past year, Residential Group No. 16 has received absolute consensus in implementing major local policies, with 100% of voters agreeing with the Project on rearranging commune-level administrative units. The economy of the people in the Group is stable. In particular, social security work is guaranteed when the residential group no longer has poor or near-poor households. The work of mobilizing contributions to various funds has achieved high results, typically the fund for natural disaster prevention and control with an amount of over 24 million VND and the contribution to repair the cultural house of 40 million VND.
In terms of culture and society , the residential group effectively implemented the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". In 2025, 99.4% of households achieved the title of cultural family and the residential group was recognized as a cultural residential group. Education and health care work was focused on: 100% of school-age children went to school and over 100% of households had health insurance cards. The residential group was also a typical example in eliminating backward customs, eliminating 01 custom of burning a lot of votive paper and many wreaths at funerals. Security and order were ensured with 100% of households signing a commitment and during the year there were no lawbreakers, no social evils. Thanks to that, the residential group was recognized as "Safe in security and order".
Residential Group No. 16 has excellently completed its assigned tasks, actively contributing to the overall development of the locality.
Speaking at the Festival, comrade Nguyen Ngoc Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee expressed his joy to know that over the past year, under the leadership and direction of the Tan Phong Ward Party Committee, the Party Cell, the Front Working Committee, the mass organizations and the people of residential group No. 16 have united, well implemented the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State and achieved many remarkable results.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, he warmly commended and congratulated the achievements that the cadres, party members, and people of residential group No. 16 have achieved in the past time. At the same time, he hoped that the people would continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and policies; households who are cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in Party and State agencies and enterprises would strive in their work; households in production and business would work hard, produce, apply information technology, digital transformation in sales, help each other do business, build a prosperous life, preserve and promote cultural identity, always trust in the leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels...
On this occasion, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, comrade Nguyen Ngoc Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Secretary to encourage the people of Residential Group No. 16.
At the Festival, Tan Phong Ward People's Committee awarded the title "Cultural Residential Group" to Residential Group No. 16 and awarded the title "Cultural Family" to 167 households. Lai Chau Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented gifts to 23 prestigious people in Tan Phong Ward; Tan Phong Ward Fatherland Front Committee presented Certificates of Merit to the Front Work Committee of Residential Group No. 16; Residential Group No. 16 commended and rewarded 10 exemplary households of the year.
Previously, Residential Group 16 organized a Pickleball sports competition, and at the Festival, 12 prizes were awarded to the winning pairs of athletes.
