According to information from the State Bank, regarding the implementation of a preferential credit package for young people under 35 years old to buy social housing, this unit has sent an official dispatch to 9 banks, including Agribank , VietinBank, Vietcombank, BIDV, HDBank, VPBank, Techcombank, TPBank, MB.
The State Bank requires commercial banks to continue to thoroughly grasp and promote the implementation of the Program for lending to social housing, workers' housing, and the renovation and reconstruction of old apartment buildings according to Resolution 33 of the Government in accordance with the direction.
In particular, lending to young people under 35 years old to buy social housing will implement a more preferential lending policy.

Specifically, on the date of signing the loan agreement, customers borrowing capital to buy social housing under 35 years old will be applied a loan interest rate 2% lower than the average medium and long-term VND loan interest rate of 4 State-owned commercial banks (Agribank, BIDV , Vietcombank and VietinBank) in the first 5 years of borrowing capital (from the first disbursement date). The loan interest rate applied until June 30 is 6.1%/year.
The lending interest rate is 1% lower than the average VND medium and long-term lending interest rate of 4 State-owned commercial banks (Agribank, BIDV, Vietcombank and VietinBank) for the next 10 years of borrowing.
From July 1, every 6 months, the State Bank will announce the preferential lending interest rates for commercial banks participating in the Program. The capital source for implementation is from the banks that have registered to participate.
The State Bank said it has asked commercial banks to urgently deploy the program throughout the system from May 31, while strengthening communication activities so that eligible customers can fully grasp information and register for loans when needed.
