Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam has just signed a decision approving the project document "Malaria prevention for migrant people, phase 2024 - 2026" sponsored by Health Poverty Action (HPA).

The project is implemented in Xy, A Doi, Thuan communes, Huong Hoa district, with a budget of 130,275 USD (equivalent to 3 billion VND). The implementation period is from the time the project is approved until December 31, 2026.
The project aims to support malaria prevention for mobile populations, especially those who sleep in the forest and cross the border, towards eliminating Artemisinin-resistant P.falciparum by 2025 and eliminating malaria in Vietnam by 2030.
