Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. To Van Hoa, Principal of Hanoi Law University, said that in the midst of the teachers' emotions, from the bottom of their hearts, there were certainly wishes and hopes that the new graduates would continue to succeed on the upcoming journey.

But the principal also asked the question: “So what is success for you? Some people will define success as immediately having a job, having a high salary, having the opportunity to quickly advance in work. Some people think more simply – success is being able to live according to what you are passionate about.”

He advised the new graduates: “Success is not about being rich or outstanding. Sometimes, success is simply about creating something good for society; something that makes others remember you and pass on to you for many years to come – not because of status, but because of value."

The principal hopes that his students will live for a meaningful goal – no matter how small, but with lasting value. “Persevere in pursuing that goal until the end – quietly, silently, but persistently with true faith and love,” Mr. Hoa said.

Mr. Hoa hopes that the new graduates will leave the lecture hall with their own big dreams – but do not forget that the true value of a lawyer, a legal officer, or any citizen lies in how well they live, and what they have left behind for this life. "With the knowledge that you have acquired at school, if you practice law in the future, you will not only practice law to succeed for yourself and your family, but also carry within you the mission of protecting justice, fighting for what is right, and protecting the vulnerable in society through the law," said Mr. Hoa.

“And remember, success is precious, but failure also brings valuable lessons. So never be discouraged, never give up hope. Your success is the school's success. Your failures are also something the school must reflect on. I wish you success - in your own way. Success can come early or late, can be big or small - but let that success carry the mark of kindness.”
