The competition for excellent reporters and propagandists is a broad-based political activity organized from the grassroots to the provincial level every two years. The competition not only aims to consolidate and improve the quality of the team of reporters and propagandists, but is also an opportunity to widely disseminate to cadres, party members and people the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, contributing to raising awareness, unifying thoughts and actions, promoting emulation movements, and contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.
Not only integrating the Party's directives and resolutions, the contestants participating in the contest of excellent BCV and TTV also linked the thematic content with the roles and responsibilities of agencies and units.
Currently, the contest for excellent BCVs and TTVs is being organized by district, city and affiliated Party Committees to select the best candidates to participate in the provincial round. The grassroots contest focuses mainly on propagating the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term; new guidelines and policies of the province, industry and locality on Party building and rectification, protecting the Party's ideological foundation, building new rural areas, model cultural villages, national digital transformation, etc.
At the contest, the contestants all had flexible and creative ways of expressing their performances through research, analysis, clarification and concretization of the content of new resolutions and policies of the province, locality and responsible sector.
In the presentation round, the contestants had their own creativity in leading the topic, creating attraction for the audience. With a coherent, confident, inspiring performance, going straight to the point to help the audience understand and remember easily, the contestants linked the topic content with the role and responsibility of the agency or unit where they worked.
At the contest of excellent BCV and TTV organized by the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies, the presentation topics were carefully and richly prepared by the contestants; integrating propaganda of many policies and guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State such as: "Some basic contents of the Law on Prevention and Control of Harmful Effects of Alcohol and Beer in 2019"; "Vinh Phuc builds a model Cultural Village"; "Applying Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style to solve employment, reduce poverty and ensure social security and welfare"...
In particular, the presentation on the content "Vinh Phuc builds a model cultural village" by contestant Nguyen Hai Thanh (Provincial Radio and Television Station) and the content "Digital transformation - New impetus for Vinh Phuc to develop sustainable economy and society" by contestant Nguyen Duc Hien (Department of Information and Communications) were highly appreciated by the Organizing Committee and the audience.
The two candidates clearly demonstrated the role and responsibility of a BCV who understands the issues that need to be propagated and how to express the content in an inspiring and easy-to-understand way. The province's major policy on building a Model Cultural Village, the determination of the Party Committee, the mechanisms and policies to support the construction of a Model Cultural Village. The role and responsibility of propaganda agencies in spreading and accompanying the province in building a Model Cultural Village were well demonstrated by candidate Nguyen Hai Thanh.
Regarding the field of digital transformation, candidate Nguyen Duc Hien clarified the role and importance of digital transformation to socio-economic activities of the whole province; the determination and efforts of the Party Committee and government in investing in infrastructure, facilities, and human resources for the digital transformation program; the benefits of digital transformation and the role and responsibility of the collective, individual cadres and party members of the Department of Information and Communications in advising on mechanisms and policies to implement digital transformation.
According to the assessment of the Organizing Committees of the grassroots competition, the Competition for Excellent BCVs and TTVs has significantly contributed to improving the quality and effectiveness of oral propaganda work; it is an opportunity for BCVs and TTVs to gain experience, improve the quality, qualifications, capacity, presentation skills, and learn from experience.
