(NADS) - Traffic congestion at the intersection of Nguyen Xien and Nguyen Van Tang (Thu Duc City) during rush hours is becoming an increasingly difficult and urgent problem. Residents living in this area are suffering heavily from inefficient traffic conditions. Authorities need to quickly find a reasonable solution to meet the needs and reduce the burden on the people.
During rush hours around 6:30 - 7:30 and 17:00 - 19:00 every day, the intersection between Nguyen Xien and Nguyen Van Tang streets is often crowded and congested. In particular, since the establishment of the Vinhomes Grand Park project (with a scale of up to 271.8 hectares), it has attracted tens of thousands of residents to live here, making the traffic congestion situation more serious.
The population is increasing rapidly, while Nguyen Xien and Nguyen Van Tang streets are quite narrow and have not been upgraded. There are more and more vehicles, so buses, cars, trucks, motorbikes, etc. often jostle each other.
Some people go to the apartment building to work on the construction site, while others go to Le Van Viet street, the school on Nguyen Van Tang street or the High-Tech Park, so traffic here is very difficult.
NTCV shared: I go to school every day, I try to leave early to avoid traffic jams, but it is unavoidable, when there is a traffic jam there I feel a bit uncomfortable, everyone is busy with their work so sometimes they cut in line making the traffic jam even worse. In my opinion, if we are mostly aware, we will shorten the traffic jam time and make traffic more convenient. And partly because the residents here are quite crowded, but the exit (Nguyen Xien street) is quite small so I think there needs to be a solution.
Mr. NBHAnh said: every time he accidentally goes to work and is 5-10 minutes late, he decides to turn around and go to Lo Lu street. He looks at the intersection of Nguyen Xien and Nguyen Van Tang streets and feels frustrated, moving little by little is very difficult, even during this period when the students have started going back to school, so the road is blocked longer than before. He just hopes that there will be a project to widen the road so that people can travel more easily.
"At first, I didn't know this road. Seeing so many people turning around, I followed them. But now I'm almost late for work, and the road is so crowded, I don't know when I'll be able to get through," said Ms. NTNgan.
Faced with the serious traffic jam problem on these two routes, Vinhomes Grand Park Management Board has agreed and allowed its residents to move to Phuoc Thien Street (right at gate 9A) to avoid the above route, making it easier for its residents to move. However, for those who do not live in the Vinhomes Grand Park project, they have to face traffic congestion in this area every day, and they really need the authorities to soon have a reasonable solution to meet traffic needs.
