The Parisian club will complete the treble in the 2024-25 season after winning Ligue 1, the Coupe de France and the UEFA Champions League. They will become the second French team to win the European Cup/Champions League after Olympique Marseille in 1993.
PSG became the first team to win a European Cup/Champions League final by five goals or more, and this was the most resounding victory in the history of a European Cup/Champions League final.
The Paris club also became the first team to score two goals in the first 20 minutes of a Champions League final, thanks to the brilliance of Achraf Hakimi and Desire Doue.

Luis Enrique became the seventh manager to win the European Cup/Champions League with two different clubs. The Spaniard became the second manager to win the treble with a European club on two different occasions.
Previously, coach Enrique won the treble in the 2014-15 season with Barcelona. Coach Pep Guardiola is the first to do this when he won the treble with Barcelona in the 2008-09 season and Man City in the 2022-23 season.
