Coach Troussier calls up 8 new recruits to the Vietnam national team

The Vietnamese team gathered with 33 players, including 8 new players: Goalkeeper Nguyen Dinh Trieu (Hai Phong Club), Tran Minh Toan ( Binh Duong Club), Bui Van Duc (Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club), Nguyen Trong Long (Hanoi Police Club), Trieu Viet Hung (Hai Phong Club), Le Pham Thanh Long, Lam Ti Phong (Dong A Thanh Hoa Club), Nham Manh Dung (Viettel Club).

This group of players has been in good form for the club. The duo Thanh Long and Ti Phong have contributed greatly to Thanh Hoa Club's achievement of leading the rankings. Similarly, Trieu Viet Hung has played outstandingly and he can meet the professional requirements in many different positions in the tactical system that Coach Chu Dinh Nghiem has built.

In the goalkeeper position, former U19 National player Tran Minh Toan marked a strong return after many years of absence. Minh Toan played brilliantly, especially in the match between Binh Duong Club and Thanh Hoa Club. Many of his saves helped the home team gain points. Dinh Trieu has maintained stability in the goal of Hai Phong Club over the past two seasons.

Three players currently playing abroad, Quang Hai (Pau FC), Cong Phuong (Yokohama FC) and Van Toan (Seoul E-Land), are all on the list of the Vietnamese national team. The player who has gone abroad and is making a good impression is Nguyen Van Toan. This striker has played 8 matches in K.League 2 since the beginning of the season. Although he has not scored any goals or made any assists, Van Toan has contributed to the overall play of the team.

In June, VFF confirmed that the match between Vietnam and Syria will be held at Thien Truong Stadium, Nam Dinh on June 20. Before that, the notable match between Vietnam and Hong Kong (China) will take place at Lach Tray Stadium, Hai Phong on June 15.
