Support 2 houses for Khmer ethnic minority people in Ba Chuc town

On April 22, in Ba Chuc town, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tri Ton district coordinated with the People's Procuracy of An Giang province and sponsors to organize a ceremony to hand over houses of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses to Khmer ethnic minority people in Ba Chuc town.

Accordingly, 2 houses were given to Mr. Chau Khuonl and Mrs. Neang Di (An Hoa A hamlet). Each newly built house has an area of ​​48 square meters, with walls, corrugated iron roof, ceiling covered with la-phong, tiled floor, toilet, total construction cost over 130 million VND. Of which, Mr. Huynh Dong Bac and Vietcombank An Giang branch supported each house with 60 million VND, the rest was contributed by the family.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province and the Steering Committee for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Tri Ton district also inspected the houses under construction in Ba Chuc town.

Implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025, Ba Chuc town is building 170 new houses for policy families, poor and near-poor households. To date, 118 houses have been completed, the remaining houses are striving to be completed by the end of May 2025.
