Accordingly, delegates met to discuss and exchange on the content of the Project to merge and consolidate the provincial radio and television stations and the press agencies of the Party Committees of the two provinces; the project to arrange, organize the apparatus, merge specialized agencies; other administrative agencies and public service units under the Provincial People's Committee.

Along with that, exchange content related to the organizational structure of departments, branches, trade and investment promotion centers, organizational structure of local authorities at commune level... after the merger.

Based on listening to opinions and contributions from working groups and departments, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung and Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong requested departments and branches of the two provinces to continue to coordinate, review and resolve difficulties in the merger process, ensuring the set schedule.

At the same time, request departments and branches to urgently unify the operating model of public service units after the merger. Calculate the conditions for arranging accommodation and means of transportation for officials and civil servants working at the new administrative center in Rach Gia City. Continue to pay attention to the arrangement of working headquarters, ensuring facilities to serve the working requirements of agencies and units after the merger.
