Tri Ton held the 23rd session of the People's Council

On the afternoon of May 12, the People's Council of Tri Ton district, term XII, 2021 - 2026, held the 23rd session (special session), giving opinions on adjusting the Land Use Planning and the Project to rent cameras to monitor security, order, and traffic safety.

At the meeting, delegates voted to approve the Resolution on adjusting the land use planning for the period 2021 - 2030 of Tri Ton district. Specifically, the structure of land types by 2030: Total natural area 60,072ha; agricultural land 51,413ha; non-agricultural land 8,441ha; unused land is 218ha. The area of ​​land use purpose conversion from agricultural to non-agricultural is 657ha; land use structure conversion within agricultural land is 371ha; non-agricultural land that is not residential land converted to residential land is 18ha; unused land area put into use is 400ha.

Voting on resolutions

The delegates also voted to abolish Resolution No. 26, dated October 17, 2024 of the Tri Ton District People's Council on the Project to rent a camera system to monitor security, order, and traffic safety in the district for the period 2025 - 2029. The reason is that the Center for monitoring and operating the camera system for security, order, and traffic safety is located at the District Police headquarters, but at present, the District Police no longer organizes. In addition, the district-level administrative unit will cease its operations, so the temporary suspension of the project is in line with the actual situation in the locality.

Speaking at the closing session, Vice Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Council Men Say Ma requested the Tri Ton District People's Committee to quickly complete procedures and submit them to the An Giang Provincial People's Committee for approval in accordance with the law. In addition, organize the announcement, publicize and implement adjustments to land use planning; strengthen the dissemination of land law so that land users can fully understand the provisions of the law. From there, use land for the right purpose, economically, effectively, protect the environment and develop sustainably.
