
Attending the program were comrades: Nguyen Tho Truyen, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports; Screenwriter Duong Cam Thuy; People's Artists Ta Minh Tam, Trong Phuc, Thanh Thuy, My Uyen; Meritorious Artists Nhat Sinh, Phi Yen, The Vi, Tuyet Thu, Anh Tuyet, Thu Thuy, Le Hong Tham, Vo Thien Lan and many other outstanding artists of Ho Chi Minh City.
In order to express their affection for the locality and the people, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee, artists of Ho Chi Minh City and the family of comrade Tran Trong Tan, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Head of the Central Ideology and Culture Department, former Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, contributed and presented many meaningful gifts. Of which, 50 gifts were sent to families with meritorious services; 80 gifts were given to compatriots, cadres, soldiers, and students; and the project "Improving the quality of life and study" was presented to the Ia Grai District Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.
On this occasion, designer Viet Hung donated 60 sets of Ao Dai fabric to 60 female teachers in Ia Grai district.



In the art exchange program, the artists brought to the local people typical vọng cổ melodies. On the stage in the middle of the vast plateau, People's Artist Trong Phuc, artists Phuong Loan, Le Hong Tham, and Dien Trung performed the new traditional song Cung dan moi.

The art performance program also has many special art performances: Melody of the Fatherland (composed by Tran Tien) performed by Anh Bang, The Vi, Huynh Loi, Thanh Tam; Song of the Southern Land with the trio of People's Artist Trong Phuc - Nguyen Phi Hung - Quoc Dai; March of Vietnamese Youth composed and performed by Nguyen Phi Hung...









On the afternoon of May 28, the delegation of artists participating in the journey to the source "Following the footsteps of the General Offensive and Uprising in the spring of 1975" held the groundbreaking ceremony for the project "Improving the quality of living and studying" at the Ia Grai District Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities.

Ia Grai District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School is a specialized school, with 100% of its students being ethnic minority children. This is also the only boarding school in Ia Grai District, with 150 students currently studying.
People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, shared: With the project "Improving the quality of living and studying", the Ho Chi Minh City Artists' Group wishes to contribute to improving the living and studying conditions for ethnic minority students in the locality. This is a meaningful way for Ho Chi Minh City artists to continue the spirit of the 1975 Spring General Offensive to accompany the construction of the lives of localities associated with the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign.
