More than 400 delegates attend the conference on 100 years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press

On the afternoon of May 30, at the International Convention Center (Hanoi), the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Mass Mobilization Department chaired and coordinated with ministries, branches, and press agencies to organize a national scientific conference with the theme "100 years of Vietnamese revolutionary press accompanying the glorious cause of the Party and the nation".

Attending the workshop were leaders of the Party and State; representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries and branches; leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association and more than 400 delegates who are journalists, scientists, experts, leaders of central and local press agencies.

The workshop is an opportunity to affirm the role and great contributions of revolutionary journalism in the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation through the ages; at the same time, it is a scientific forum to exchange theories and practices on the development of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism over the past 100 years, proposing orientations and solutions for development in the new era.

At the same time, the Workshop is a practical activity towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), contributing to encouraging the team of journalists to continue promoting tradition, maintaining political courage, innovation, creativity, worthy of being the vanguard force on the ideological - cultural front of the Party.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Conference received 100 presentations, focusing on 5 main contents:

(1) Revolutionary press accompanies the nation in the struggle for national independence (1925-1945);

(2) The Vietnamese revolutionary press accompanied the nation in the resistance war against French colonialism and American imperialism, making important contributions to the victory of the people's national democratic revolution and national reunification;

(3) Vietnamese revolutionary press accompanies the nation in building socialism nationwide and in the period of innovation and integration;

(4) New context, advantages, difficulties and issues facing Vietnamese revolutionary press;

(5) Solutions to build and develop Vietnam's revolutionary press in the new era.
